1. Who we are

JEE Forge (“we”, “us”) is an online IIT JEE practice platform operated for students preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination in India. Reach us via our contact form.

2. What we collect

Account data: name, email address, profile photo URL — provided by Google when you sign in.
Exam data: attempts, responses, scores, ranks, time spent on each question.
Technical data: IP address (logged by hosting provider for security), browser/device type, session cookies (for keeping you signed in).

3. How we use it

Authenticate you and gate the platform to approved emails only.
Save your exam progress and compute scores + ranks.
Show admins (the platform operators) live progress during a test.
Operate the service — debug errors, prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your responses to train third-party AI models.

4. Where it lives

Account and exam data are stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted in Asia/US regions). Hosting and CDN: Vercel (Singapore region prioritized for India latency). Authentication: Google OAuth + Supabase Auth.

5. Your rights

Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your account and all associated attempts/responses.
Sign out at any time (top-right of dashboard) — session cookies are cleared.

Submit data requests via our contact form. We respond within 7 days.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies are set.

7. Children

The platform is intended for students aged 16+ preparing for IIT JEE. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should consent to your use of the service. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
